Anita Marie Scarpa

Born on March 25, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Paul and Theresa Baffa, she is also predeceased by her husband Thomas P. Scarpa.

After a long career as a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics, Anita opened an adult daycare center, Leisure Care, Inc., in Jupiter, FL which she operated until her retirement in 2003.

She is survived by daughters Nancy (Anthony) Parrone, Louise (Tracy) Gilmour, and Kathy Levas of Florida, Terry (Dan) Inman of California and son Tom (Dee) Scarpa of New Jersey, 11 grandchildren, sister Virginia McEwan, and brother Paul Baffa.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6 pm – 9 pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL 33458. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, FL
