Rodgers V. Hunter, 70, of Riverdale, GA entered into rest on Saturday, August, 27, 2011. Mr. Hunter is preceded in death by his parents: Bennie and Lilie Hunter. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Alice Hunter; sons: Kinny Myles and Willie B. Hunter; brothers: Malcolm Hunter, James Johnson, and Troy T. Johnson; sister: Tammy D. Clark and Sandra M. Vaughn; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, GA 30236 on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 from 9AM until 5PM and again on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 6PM-8PM. Services honoring Mr. Hunter will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness 6855 Camp Valley Rd. Riverdale, GA 30296 on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 1PM with Elder Thomas Simpson officiating.
