Nellie Ernestine Mulligan

Nellie Ernestine Mulligan, 91, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, November 29, 2022. She was born at Grady Hospital June 05, 1931, the daughter of the late Guy and Clyde Mayfield. She was a class of 1953 graduate of North Clayton High. Ernestine as she was called was employed by the JCPenney warehouse on Frontage Rd., she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church under Pastor Lavon Womack. She leaves to cherish her memory one son; Tony (Bobbi) Mulligan of Winston, GA, one daughter; Elaine Konvicka of Union City, GA, grandchildren; Nicole (Ashley) Chadha, Kristin (Tim) Kenny, TJ Mulligan, Troy (Chrissy) Konvicka, Haley Konvicka, Leonard (Amanda) Konvicka, Bruce(Kimberly) Konvicka, Courtney Wynne, and Dylan Bogue,and 12 great-grandkids, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Gail Wynne, one brother; Robert Mayfield, two sisters; Carolyn Burel, and Reba Chaffin, and one son-in-law Bobby Konvicka.

Funeral service will be December 02, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation and appetizers two hours prior, at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, GA 30236. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park McDonough, GA
