

Kenneth Douglas Brooks was born on July 7, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Robert Brooks and Artie Brooks. He departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2011.
Kenneth graduated from Stanton High School in 1970. He served in the Army from 1975 until 1979 receiving an honorable discharge. He moved to the Atlanta area in the early 1980s and was employed by the U.S Postal Service until God called him home. Kenneth enjoyed making you laugh, loved singing, and an avid collector of sport memorabilia. Often time he collected items and repaired them to pass along to needy children. Kenneth did various impressions of people and loved to dance. He was a charming and caring man, highly spoken of by others and lovingly known as “smiley”.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his precious memories his two sons, Kenneth Brooks, Jr. and Rafael Brooks; two sisters Janice (George) Handy and Gloria Hills; two brothers, Michael Brooks and Jeffrey Brooks (Camille); niece Janette Adams and a host of other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, family and friends.
