John Howell Seay

John Seay, age 69, died Thursday, March 23,2023 at Southern Regional Hospital from complications with Melanoma cancer. John is survived by his wife, Janie Seay, and son, Stephen Seay, as well as his grandchildren Stephanie Seay, Nicholai Seay, and Nathan Seay. His brothers Carl Seay, Jerry Seay, and sister Carol Pitts.

Aside from his family, one of John’s greatest achievements was becoming a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

John also supported numerous causes throughout his life. One of them being Joey’s Toy Box organization which is dedicated to helping children who are undergoing treatment for cancer and other debilitating diseases by providing comfort and support to the children and their families. Donations also went to buying games and toys for children's hospitals. John also went on various mission trips over the years to help spread the word of God.

Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home will host services for John between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday, March 29,2023.
