Freida Neely Hammond

Loving mother of Steve Hammond (Robin), beloved grandmother of Douglas Hammond (Jennifer Vanhorn), and Eric Hammond (Jennifer). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Jackson Hammond and Bryson Hammond, her brother, Richard C. Neely (Kathy), and a host of loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Reeves.

Freida was a dedicated employee for over 42 years with Kroger’s Corporation. She loved to travel for adventure, enjoyed being around water, and waterskiing, but her favorite past time was spending quality time with her loving family and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:45 p.m., Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro, GA 30236, with burial to immediate follow.
