Earl was preceded in death by his mother Earline Pierce Garrett, his father Harold Dean Garrett, brothers, Thomas Garrett, and Larry Gene Garrett. He is survived by his Stepmom, Juanita (Mama)Garrett of Hampton GA; brothers , Stanley Garrett of Royston, GA, Gary Garrett of Fayetteville, GA; sister Delores Garrett Creech of Newnan, GA; stepbrothers, Tim Glenn of Copper Hill, TN, Steve Glenn of Butte, MT, and Kenneth Glenn of Auburn, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His Visitation is at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Avenue, Jonesboro, GA. Wednesday May 8, 2013, 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Earl will lie in state Thursday May 9, 2013, at Fellowship Baptist Church from 12pm until 2:00pm, the Funeral will immediately proceed at, 2:00pm the church is located at 157 Roundtree Road, Riverdale Georgia.
