Connie Begley Collins

Connie was born on September 18, 1962 in Chattanooga, TN to Donald and Billie Begley. The family moved to Georgia in the late 1960’s.

Connie earned a Business Degree from Manfield Business School where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and Presidential Honors.

Connie loved the beach and was always the life of the party. She married Randy Russell in 1983 and they had a daughter, Raven Russell. She then married Brian Collins in 1999 and had a daughter, Brianna Collins (Chapman). Connie loved her family and she was a great daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Connie is preceded in death by her mother, Billie Begley.

She is survived by her daughters, Raven Celia Russell and Brianna Collins Chapman, grandchildren, Chase Stockwell, Amber Goetz, Cayson Russell, Elijah Collins, Clint Chapman, and Liam Chapman; father, Donald Parker Begley, Sr.; brother, Donald Parker Begley, Jr.; sister, Vicki O’Neil.

Connie’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel – 681 North Avenue – Jonesboro, GA 30236. (770) 471-7171. Funeral Services for Connie will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jeffrey Halenza officiating.
