Christopher gave his life to Christ at a young age and could recite the bible from memory. He loved everybody that he met and would give the shirt off his back for those in need. He was a very loving person although he had many struggles in life, he tried to help people that were homeless and dealing with addictions. He never married although Janet Jackson was his "wife" but had two beautiful children whom he loved with all of his heart. He was also a jack of all trades and was the true definition of a handyman. He worked on yards, cars and houses. In his younger days, skating was his passion and sense of freedom. He was a part of a skating team called "The Swifters" that won many competitions in SC. Dancing (pop locking) and skating were his most favorite times. He loved music therapy and family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy and his son Chris Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter; Crystal Dudley, his father; Louis Penland, Sisters; Inga (Penland) Cook and Lemethia Penland, his brother; Devron Penland, his grandchildren; Angelisha and Josiah Dudley, Nephews; Vittorio Williams, Vincent Williams, Titus Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
