Arnett Carr (JR) was born October 26, 1957. Fell asleep in death on December 9, 2021 .He was the oldest son of Josephine (Bowler) and Arnett Carr (SR). Siblings are Sheila M. Roberson, Barbie J. Carr, James A. Carr SR. (Deceased), and Rodger H. (m. Cynthia) Carr.
Arnett was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, James A.
He welcomed his first daughter Josette M. ( m. Brian Juntunen) while stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Danielle D. Carr followed in Fairborn, Ohio, and Charleana H. Carr in Tacoma, Washington. (mother Michelle)
Monica M. Munett Carr was born while he lived in the bay area of California (Mother Diana) he spent time in Oklahoma and Ohio too before moving to the Atlanta area. Ociana W.L. Carr, and son Hubert A. Carr were born there (Mother CindyLou)
Also survived by his thirteen grandchildren Marwan, Arnett E., Marionna , Charles, Nacolette, Ashari, Christian. DeJuan, Maurice, Cassidy, Lamar, Arielle, and Aeries.
Arnett was fun loving and carefree. He enjoyed playing cards & Dominoes, watching Football ( Huge Oakland Raiders fan), and grilling ribs. He had eclectic taste in music, enjoying Gospel and Country along with Rock and Contemporary. His favorite song was Otis Redding “ Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”.
When asked about the most relatable bible verses he would say 2 Corinthians 12:7 thru 12:10. He knew about the thorns but he also knew Gods grace and mercy. And the multitude of Gods blessings.
