Timothy Edward Brown, 65, of Alexandria, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at his residence surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Eugene and Edith Brown. Timothy was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Captain. He had a deep passion for learning and teaching; Timothy earned himself a Bachelor’s degree in medieval history from The Ohio State University, a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from DeVry University, and a Master’s degree in political science from Troy University. Timothy loved to travel, eat good food, listen to music, and share his love of history. He was the choir director for the Alexandria Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member for many years. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah Brown; daughters, Dianne (Bryan) Hackenberger, Karen (Mike) Westling, Connie Rynearson, Sarah (David) Floerke, Laura (Jared) Landberg; grandchildren, Tim, Kaylah, Vanessa, Matthew, Ethan, Elijah, Trinity, Isaac, Wesley, Ezra, Gwen, Eden, Amelia, Lily, Chloe, and Atlas; sister, Chris Fox; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. Family and friends may gather Friday November 8, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Alexandria Baptist Church, 94 W. Main St., Alexandria, OH 43001. A funeral service is to follow beginning at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Brian Potts officiating. Timothy will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Music Program at Alexandria Baptist Church, 94 W. Main St., Alexandria, OH 43001.
