To the Jolley family: My sincerest sympathy for your loss. Tom was one of the pillars of Pilgrim Lutheran church. He was the happiest person I ever saw at church. Without Tom and the entire Jolley family, the church would not have been the same. When I think of him, he has a big smile on his face, just like he always had. He will leave many memories like this with all of his friends and family members.

Dear Margaret and family,
I am writing to you to share with you the wonderful time that I had with Tom.  Tom is a very kind and gentle person.  He is always available and ready to help everyone who had a chance to meet him. I look at Tom like by big brother.  I wish that I have more time to spend with Tom. However, each time that I spend with him, I had a great time. I cherish the time that I had spend with Tom.  Tom make this world a better place to live.  I am talking this learning from him and carry out  this journey.  Here are some of my wonderful memories:  Tom helped  me to build a paper holder for my kitchen,  he also help me to build cabinets for my water bed.  We had funs together. Tom is a very talented craftsman.  Of course, he enjoyed the tools he had. 
So, I don't want to end this notes from a sad memory, but  to use this time to celebrate the time that I had with Tom…
Tom – you are a wonderful that I have a chance to meet.  I have been living my life with my learning that I received from you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and wisdoms.

Dear Jolley Family,  We were told of Tom's passing by Miriam Durham.  We have many wonderful memories of Tom as a faithful and loving brother in Christ. So sad to hear about this.  We will always remember Tom's smile and his pocket full of candy at church.  What a good man.  Thankful to know him!

Tom meant much more to me than I ever told Tom or his family.  Out of all the people I've known in my life, I have to say that Tom is the most precious person to me (aside from my children).  I met Tom when he became my supervisor at AT&T.   I will never forget all the support and encouragement that Tom gave me.  I came from an abusive childhood and Tom became my "father" that I always wished I had.  No one has ever been so caring and loving to me as Tom was.  I will never forget all our long conversations and all the advice he generously gave me.  He believed in me and I felt so happy to work and spend time with him.  I am heartbroken to hear of his passing because I failed to visit him.  I've lived in San Diego for the last 17 years and rarely visit Columbus, but I really wished I had.   I know that my life would not have been the same without Tom's influence.  He blessed me in more ways than I can express.  My deepest condolences to his entire family because I know what a great loss they must endure.
