Thomas Owen Bell Sr., 79, of Thornville, Ohio formerly of Johnstown, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones at his residence. He was born July 16, 1945 in Johnstown, Ohio to the late Harold and Betty Bell. Thomas truly loved his family and always put them first. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping; and made sure to pass those skills down to his grandchildren. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Winona Bell; daughter, Ivy (Eric) Osborne; grandsons, Brandon (Paige) Clemons and Roman Osborne; great-grandson, Wyatt Clemons; daughter-in-law Diane Bell; brother Raymond (Diane) Bell; nephews, John and Allen Bell; nieces, Bobbi, Esther, Roni Lee; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in passing by his son, Thomas O. Bell Jr.; and brothers, Ronnie and Larry Bell. A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031.
