Steven E. Hogue, age 60 of Johnstown, Ohio, died Friday night, August 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1952, in Oil City, PA, to the late Robert Leo and the late June Elizabeth (Smith) Hogue. He was an electronic technician at the main office of the U. S. Postal Service, in Columbus, where he was employed for 27 years. He was a US ARMY veteran, he enjoyed the company of his grandchildren, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, an Ohio State Buckeye fan, and was a member of the Johnstown Christian Church.
Steven is survived by his wife of seven years; Gina L. (Moore) Hogue, three sons; Michael S. (Sarah) Hogue of Westerville, Jonathan E. (Carrie) Hogue of Lockbourne, Matthew R. (Brittany) Hogue of Grove City, three daughters; Mrs. Jason (Tabitha) Fullen of Circleville, Kimberly A. Hogue of the home, Dovey Hogue of Reynoldsburg, three step-sons; Randy (Elizabeth) Beireis and Charles (Haley) Beireis, both of Mansfield, and Rodney Beireis of Marion, one step-daughter; Dawnalyn Corman of KY, 23 grandchildren, one brother; David A. (Diane) Hogue of Seneca, PA, one niece and one nephew.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, in Johnstown, with Pastor Larry Hiles officiating. Interment will be in the Dayton National Cemetery on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at noon, where Graveside Military Rites will be conducted.
