Richard "Dick" H Eichner

Richard H. “Dick” Eichner 77, of Johnstown, OH passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Church of the Ascension, 555 S Main St., Johnstown, OH with interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Johnstown, OH with Military Honors.

Dick was born on January 22, 1934 in Columbus, OH to the late Gertrude Eichner. Dick proudly served in the United States Army. Dick retired after many years of dedicated service from Maple Grove Dairy in Johnstown.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Dorothy ( Carter ) Eichner, his children; Teresa Eichner of Johnstown, Richard “Bubby” (Robbi) Eichner of Johnstown, OH Elizabeth (John) Davis of Pataskala, OH, Mark (Kathy) Eichner of Utica, OH, Julie (Dave) Reeves of Johnstown, OH and David Eichner of Johnstown, grandchildren; Amanda, Christopher, Sarah, Joshua, Amy, Jordon, and Nate, great grandchildren; Emma Matthew, Aiden, Jaimie, Makayla, Patrick and Jack along with many good friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 4 to 7 PM with a Prayer Vigil to follow at 7 PM at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH. Memorial contributions can be made in loving memory of Dick to the American Heart Association 5455 N High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
