Rebecca Jean King

Rebecca (Becky) Jean King, 75, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at home. She was born on March 16, 1947 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Virgil Huddy and Verna Meador (McConaha). Becky is survived by long time companion Charles (Charlie) Green, daughters Loretta Sloat of Columbus, Jolie (Barry) Reynolds of Johnstown and Susan King of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother Ed (Rose) Huddy of Florida and sisters Judy (Dick) Kight of Sandusky Ohio, Dixie Crace of Missouri and Cindy (Larry) Nowicki of Florida. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) King, sons William King Jr, Walter (Gene) King, granddaughter Nicole King, brother William (Bill) Huddy and sisters Karen Huddy and Patricia (Patty) Black. Becky enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crafts, especially hair bows that she would give to every little girl she met. Internment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery where the family will hold a private graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
