Paul Priest

Paul worked as an electrician for many years. He retired from Abbott and formerly worked at Technical Rubber. He loved mechanics and could master anything with a motor. These skills served his family and friends very well throughout Paul’s life. He even drilled bowling balls and operated his television and lawn mower repair service. Paul loved spending time outdoors; fishing, hunting, and playing basketball.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret (Sesser) Priest; daughter, Beverly Priest; infant son, Terry Priest; siblings, Doris (Jim) Light and Norman Priest; sister-in-law, Dolares Priest; brother-in-law, Harley Sesser; and his beloved dog, Piddles.

Paul will be deeply missed by his surviving children, Rick (Lucinda) Priest, Doug (Dawn) Priest, Tim (Debbie) Priest, and Tina Priest; grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Michael (Angie) Collins, Jason (Jenna) Collins, Derrick (Lillian) Collins, Zach (Kelly) Collins, Nick Muncie, Fallon (Brandon) Bass, Autumn Priest, Christina (Chris) Smith, Brandon Stangle, Brandon Priest, and Zachary Priest; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Barb Priest and Cathy Sesser; brother-in-law, Roger Priest; beloved dogs, Poppy and Champ; along with countless relatives and dear friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 10, 2020 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Johnstown's Sportsman Club, 7357 Sportsman Club Rd NW, Johnstown, OH 43031. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul’s honor to the Johnstown Fire Department.
