Patricia (Pat) Piper, 90, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024. Pat was born on January 27, 1934 to Dr. RG and Mildred Adams in Johnstown, Ohio. Pat attended Johnstown High School where she met her future husband. Pat also attended Ohio University. In 1954, Pat married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Piper. They were married almost 44 years before Bob’s death in October 1998. They had two daughters, Diana and Barbara Piper, followed by two granddaughters, Jordan and Elizabeth, and great grandson Zack. Pat was a co-leader for campfire girls, a very active volunteer at Willis Park, her daughter’s elementary school, and worked part-time as a bookkeeper. Pat was an excellent cook, seamstress, cake decorator, floral designer, and was involved with the Four Seasons Garden Club of Reynoldsburg for over 60 years. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob, brother-in- law, Don Piper, and his wife Joyce, brother-in-law, Raymond Piper, sisters-in-law, Linda and Jane Piper.
Pat’s sister, Carolyn Adams Pargeon, also passed later the same day. Pat is survived by daughters, Diana and Barbara, granddaughters, Jordan and Elizabeth, great grandson, Zack. Brother Robert (Nancy) Adams, brothers in law, Edward (Mary Jo), William (Wilma), Richard, and Tom (Pam) Piper. Sisters-in- law, Carolyn (Bill) Meiers, and Katie (John) Ferbrache. Many nieces and nephews and greats. Many friends, neighbors and garden clubbers. Pat also loved all of her furry grandkids. From March 2024 until her death, Pat lived at Brookdale Assisted Living in Groveport, Ohio. Staff and many residents loved “Miss Pat” and were very good to her. Also, Hospice 360 was a blessing. We’d like to thank mom’s daily 360 caregiver Penny West.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Care360 Hospice in Pat's memory.
