Kay Louise (Santo) Helmke, 85, of Johnstown, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Westerwood. She was born on August 11, 1936 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to the late Rienhard and Helen (Heltman) Santo. Kay is survived by her loving son, Scott (Amy); grandchildren, Victoria, Ty, Ryan and Reagan; siblings, Bill (Lilah) Santo and Carol Thompson and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Gladys (Walter) Guider, Edward (Dottie) Santo, Bud (Cathy) Santo and William Thompson. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Croton Church of Christ, 40 S. Main St., Hartford, OH 43013 in Kay’s memory.
