John B. Vargo, 76 of Johnstown, passed away at Countryview of Sunbury, Alzheimer’s Unit on July 2, 2013. Born on November 12, 1936 to the late Bert and Susan (Kaulman) Vargo in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from South High School in 1954 in Columbus, Ohio. John retired from the Military after 42 years and retired from AEP after 35 years. He enjoys the outdoors, hunting and woodworking. Survived by wife of 56 years Mary (McKnight) Vargo, children Tina (Dennis) Wyse, Mark Vargo, and Tracy (John) Rose, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brothers Louis (Marsha) Vargo and David Vargo, several nieces and nephews. Memorial service at the Johnstown Christian Church, 9556 Johnstown Utica Rd., Johnstown, Ohio on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11am with Larry Hiles officiating.
