JoAnn Lundy

JoAnn was a florist for many years with her shop, Lundy’s Flowers, here in Johnstown. She always loved children, including being a teachers aide in high school in Nelsonville, Ohio. She gave a good amount of her time to the Nazarene church working with the youth and being a Sunday school teacher, she and our dad even became foster parents for a while. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved watching them play.

JoAnn enjoyed a long career as an insurance agent and while in South Dakota, she enjoyed helping the deaf community by providing resources for their disability. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, crafting and being creative. She exceeded at all of these and more.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters Connie Jasper, Robin Halterman (James), Cheryl Swartz (Rick), Teri Maynard, and her sons Charles Lundy Jr (Bonnie) and Robert Lundy. Her children provided her with the true lights of her life, her NUMEROUS grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.

JoAnn was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles Lundy Sr, one daughter Patricia Lundy, one grandson Rob Poholsky and one son-in-law, Rick Maynard.

We will miss her smile and humorous wit as she loved making people laugh.

A visitation for JoAnn will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 North Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home.

JoAnn will be laid to rest in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
