Christopher Lewis Weinberger, 40, of Westerville, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023. He was born on March 21, 1983 in Columbus, OH a son to Bill and the late Sharon (Hayden) Weinberger. Chris graduated from Northridge High School in 2001 and Capital University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He was an avid OSU fan and loved spending time with family and friends. Chris was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his father, Bill (Christine); siblings, Jeff (Jennifer), Steve (Marne) and Amy (Adam) Burkey; nieces and nephews, William, Katherine, Caroline, Elizabeth, Cameron, Lauren, Seth and Nathan. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Church of the Ascension, 555 S. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031 with Father Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Johnstown, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Thoracic Oncology Center Support Fund for Lung Cancer Research, 14 E. 15th Ave., Columbus, OH 43201 in memory of Chris.
