Barbara Ann Chapman, 85, of Johnstown, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was born on October 8, 1936 in Buena Vista, OH, a daughter to the late Roy Kennedy and Mabel (Stout) Bishop and step-father, Lawrence Bishop. Barbara was an avid Buckeye Fan, loved playing cards and board games. She worked for years as a school secretary, in the banking industry, as a realtor and volunteered for the last twenty years at Jersey Baptist Church. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Donald Chapman; children, Steve (Nancy) Chapman, Bob (Carly) Chapman, Susan (Rick) Corwin, David (Ingrid) Chapman and Carol (Stacy) Chapman, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her extended neighborhood family dearly. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Rd., New Albany, OH 43054. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the church with Pastor John Hays officiating. Private family interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
