Tammy Sue Jaynes, age 56, of Gray, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Washington County, Tennessee, a daughter of Doyle Hazen Jaynes and Susan Tester Fletcher. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tommy and Gladys Tester; and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Cleo Jaynes.
Tammy was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School Class of 1986. She was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were her life. She was a great artist and loved to draw.
She is survived by one daughter, Danielle Collins and fiancé Daniel Yontz; four grandchildren, Renae, Nathan, Jonah, and Anna; mother and stepfather, Susan and Conley Fletcher; one brother, Ronald Jaynes; two step brothers, Roger Jaynes, and Eddie Jaynes and wife Karen; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM with her uncle Johnny Fields officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
