Just learned of Mr. Carrier’s death.  He was a neighbor and he and my brother were friends.  My brother died in February 2019.  Rick  laid
carpet for us and was always friendly.  Sorry for your loss.  I had missed him waving as he drove off if I was in the yard.  

It is hard to believe that you have been gone a year now Rick. That planned meeting we made was made impossible by you becoming infected with COVID. I remember some good times like me, you and your father Gene target practicing in the backyard. Memories may be lost but they never die brother. 

Rick has been close to our family since his first marriage. My grandmother treated him like one of her grandkids. Rick also got me into archery and we enjoyed many weekends at a competition somewhere. I always considered him a close friend, Curt also. He will be missed

Well brother I'm going to miss you. I know we will see one another again. Though we didn't see each other and talk a lot, when we did it was like we picked up where we left off.  You were that easy to know and be around. Rest in peace brother I love you and will see you later. 

Ricky was my cousin. He was so sweet and he looks the same as he did when he was a child.  He never forgot to send me a Christmas card every year.  His sister Deb and I are close ..I love her so much.  We talk and reminisce about our childhood.  We were all close as children.  My Mother was Gene’s sister.  We all grew up and moved away but have never forgot each other.  I know that Rick is at peace and in God’s hands.   God bless the family and God will walk with you as you grieve.  

Very sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. A great friend and classmate. 
I’d just recently gotten back in touch with him and his brother Curt. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we shared. He told me a lot about his family and friends. 
He will be missed. Love ya, Rick. RIP my good friend. 

I remember when I was a teenager and I lived just down the road from the archery shop and I would walk there every night and just hangout, eventually Rick got me into shooting archery ,couldn't ask for a better man, Rick will definitely be missed, God be with his family. 

Rick was a good brother-in law and a fantistic father. May he rest in peace.

Wow, just a few weeks ago Rick and I were talking about getting together when I came back into Bristol. This was a real shock when I heard about his passing. Rick and I go back to the early '70s when his family just moved from Ohio to Bristol, and ended up in Bluff City and then finally in Hickory Tree. I have missed his Dad Gene for a long time which I became close to before his untimely passing. I am praying for all of the family. His siblings, Kurt, Debbie and Cindy. His nieces and nephews. Shane and Anthony you guys are special to me. May God bless everyone with the peace that only his spirit can give us in times such as this. I am claiming his promise for you "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
