Mary Ann Oliver

Mary Ann Oliver, age 73, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Johnson City, TN, a daughter of the late Howard Greer and Betty McCoy Greer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Helen Ollenger; and one brother, James Lee Greer.

Mary was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, mamaw and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gary Oliver; two children, Jennei Hunter and Gary J. Oliver and wife April; four grandchildren, Justin Hunter, Anthony Hunter, James Welch, and Rachel Welch; two brothers, Roy Greer and wife Vivian and Randy Greer; four sisters, Gail Lyles and husband Gary, Lois Green and husband Ed, Lisa Autrey, and Tina Mitchell and James Asher; and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Committal Service and Interment will be held in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Jefferies officiating.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff on the 2nd Floor at Franklin Woods Community Hospital and to the staff of Ballad Hospice for all the love and care that was shown.
