Joyce Ann Jones, 79, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Fuquay-Varina, NC. She was born in Berlin, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late James Ringler and Grace Firle Ringler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ringler Hetrick.
Joyce was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Johnson City, TN. She enjoyed decorating her home, spending time with her family, tending to her sweet dogs, Tipper & Ginger, and researching her genealogy.
She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws, Brion Jones and wife Ida, Aaron Jones and wife Aimie, and Clayton Jones and wife Kristy; one daughter and son-in-law, Dori Peterson and husband Craig; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ed & Jimmy and 1 sister, Gloria Jean and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.
A Private Committal Service and Entombment will be held in the Chapel Mausoleum at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
