Joseph excelled in many areas academically and in sports. He loved golf and basketball. He graduated from Gulf Coast High School as the class Valedictorian. He received his master degree in family and child counseling at UNC Chapel Hill. He continued his education towards his PHD at UCF in Florida. His life's work was as a dedicated counselor to children in need. He spent many hours as a mentor and tutor for students. He volunteered as a grief counselor.
Joseph always with book in hand enjoyed reading. He loved to write and ponder philosophy. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Loved his family, good food and trivia.
Most precious of all was his time spent with his daughter and true love Olivia Marie. They shared 16 years together of laughter and adventures. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his parents Joseph and Mary Graham, of Limestone TN; one brother, David Graham(Caralie), of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Diana Graham (Tim and Gavin) Clarksville, TN; daughter, Olivia Marie Graham ( Christina Gywn) Clermont, FL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 23,2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2211 E. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City, TN with Father Dustin Collins officiating. Committal Service and Inurnment will follow in the St. Mary's Garden at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
