Donald Alexander Milton, Sr., age 79, of Erwin, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Christian Care Center of Unicoi. He was born in New York City, New York, a son of the late Alexander Milton and Martha Andreson Milton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Milton.
Donald was of the Lutheran faith and worked as a Journey Wireman for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #3. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge. He loved working crossword puzzles, playing video games, watching TV and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Milton; two sons, Donald Milton, Jr., and David Milton; one daughter, Melissa Morman; two grandchildren, Mason and Holly; one step grandchild, Dalton; one brother, John Milton; one sister, Laurel Milton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home with Chaplain Carl Gasser officiating. Private Inurnment will be held in the Mountain View Cremation Garden at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Christian Care Center of Unicoi and staff of Amedisys Hospice for all the love and care that was shown.
