Delores Floyd East

Delores Floyd East, age 80, of Piney Flats, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mrs. East was born in Rayne, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Eddie Floyd and Francis Luquette Floyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Olds.

Delores was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol, Tennessee. She loved gardening and birds.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Willie East; two sons, Wade East, and Craig East and wife Jennifer; one daughter, Dana Stover and husband Rusty; six grandchildren, Brittany East, Bailey East, Dylan East, Latisa Wagner and husband Paul, Alex Stover and Courtney Stover; one great granddaughter, Kinsley Wagner; one sister, Gloria Desormeaux; one brother, Daniel Floyd; brother and sister-in-laws, Juris East, Laura Dupre, and Avery East and wife Judy.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 5:30PM until 6:30PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 6:30PM with Pastor Mike Tyson officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Mountain Home National Cemetery (Annex), 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, TN. Pallbearers will be family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, 1401 Virginia Avenue, Bristol, TN 37620.
