Artie Elizabeth Bailey

Artie Elizabeth Bailey, age 80, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on June 17, 2024 at the Agape Nursing Home. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Norvan Coolidge Day, Sr., and Artie Mae McElyea Day. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence McKee; second husband, Bobby Hal Bailey; and two brothers, Buddy Day and Danny Day.

Artie was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She had worked for Overland Construction as an Office Manager. She loved crafting and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby McKee, and Mark McKee; four grandchildren, Peyton Mitchell, Matty McKee, Moses McKee, and Cameron McKee; two brothers and sister-in-laws, David Smith Day and wife Jan, and Robert Steve Day and wife Sherry; one sister, Jeanette Day; and several nieces and nephews.

Committal Service and Interment will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 10:00AM in the Garden of the Cross at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be members of her family.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Agape Nursing Home for all the love and care that was shown.
