William “Willie” Kahl, 60, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on August 10th, 2022, after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Somerville, New Jersey on January 18th, 1962, to Fred and Carol Kahl. William graduated from Martin County High School in 1982. He was also an Eagle Scout and Volunteer Fireman in Jensen Beach, Florida. After that, he went on to join the US Army in 1987 as a Black Hawk Helicopter Crew Chief. William took pride in his ten years of service in the Army earning the rank of Sergeant (E-5), three Army Achievement medals and one Meritorious Service Award. After serving in the Army, he worked for the City of Port Saint Lucie, Utilities Department, for 22 years, retiring in 2018. In his spare time, he enjoyed blacksmithing, gardening, and many other crafts. He was preparing to have his own flock of chickens this summer and had just finished their coop. William is survived by his two brothers Fred and Brian, his sister Penny, former spouse Florentina, his three children, Leydi, Casey, Sharon and his four grandchildren Micah, Natalie, Mikaela, and Luna. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside services for William Allan Kahl will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 2303 NE Seaview Dr., Jensen Beach, FL 34957. Following the graveside services for William there will be a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
