Born in Glen Cove, NY, Mr. Bocchino lived in Jensen Beach, FL for over 50 years.
For 19 years before retiring, Vince was an Assistant Superintendent in the Martin County Parks Department. Prior to that he was a carpenter for GA Construction and owner of VB Construction.
Vince served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a volunteer for the Jensen Beach Fire Department, the Jensen Beach Fireworks Committee, Jensen Beach CUBS, and the Optimist Club of Jensen Beach. Vince was instrumental in organizing and implementing various sports activities at Langford Park. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Vince coordinated the reconstruction of the Log Cabin Senior Center at Langford Park. He later wrote a book about the history of the building.
Vince is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosemarie; daughters, Ellen Hoyt and her husband George of West Palm Beach, Barbara of Jensen Beach; sons, Michael and his wife Jane of Jensen Beach, Jerry of Jensen Beach, David and his wife Alicia of Port St. Lucie. He has 6 grandchildren; Vinny and Charlotte Bocchino, Bonnie and Aimee Hoyt, and Anthony and Justine Ballard. Vince has one great-grandchild, Elliana Ballard.

There will a graveside service on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach at 11:00am with a reception following at the Vince Bocchino Community Center, Langford Park.
