Randy was born on September 13, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan. He was the first of five children for his late mother, Alice. They moved to Florida where Randy would meet his future wife and mother of his children, Cheryl Lucille Enos. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Randy married Cheryl in West Palm Beach. Together they raised three daughters, Dawn Renee, Jennifer Lynne, and Carrie Anne, who were Randy’s pride and joy.
Randy was a hard worker and made lifelong friends during his many years working at Folding Shutter Corporation and Sparton Electronics. He hosted big barbeques that these friends would attend.
Randy was home every night for dinner with his family. He took his family on many adventures to the mountains, theme parks, camping, boating, and fishing. He instilled strong values in his daughters that will be passed on to his five grandchildren, Jacob Ryan Roberts, Jordan Scott Roberts, Walker Michael Bambulas, Aubrey Lucile Majors, and Wyatt Daniel Majors.
Randy loved to fish. Many of his friends and family remember him as the man with the most fish in his boat. He was known to do most of his hobbies pretty well, like keeping the pool table forever and playing a decent game of cards, bowling, or golf... usually with a bottle of Bud Light in his hand and telling a story that brought us to tears with laughter. Randy loved music, anything he was holding could instantly be turned into a guitar. He loved a good slow dance with his mom or one of his daughters.
Randy once said that Lake Okeechobee was his favorite place on Earth. A celebration of his life will be held at the Okeechobee KOA Resort at noon on Saturday, June 27, 2020. His daughters and surviving brother, Karl Fredrick Brandt, will later lay him to rest with his beloved Cheryl.
