She was born in Montclair, NJ and moved to Jensen Beach area in 1979, coming from Livingston, NJ.
Prior to retirement she was an agent for Deakins-Carroll Health and Life Insurance Co in Port Salerno, FL.
Doris was of the Presbyterian faith. Dori was an amazing and passionate spirit. Her infectious love and compassion was a gift felt by all who came in contact with her. Dori always made time to help others and inspire them with her passion and kind words. When she was not helping others you could find Dori on the golf course. She was an avid golfer that loved to play with her friends known as the 9 Holers, AKA:Yah yahs. Dori will be truly missed by her friends and family.
Survivors include her son Gregory J. (Kimberly) Gaydos-O’Neal-Hurt of Columbus, IN, brother, Frank (Jeanne) Neuner of Woodstock, GA, three grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlyn and Dylan, niece, Julia (Scott) Nichols, cousin, Barbara (Bob) Armstrong of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and their children Jon (Nastaja) Hall, and their daughter, Kairah, Stacey (Fernando) Donayre and their children, Aylah and Braden.
She was predeceased by her son Robert F. Gaydos.
A gathering will be on Monday March 14th, from 1-2 PM at Aycock Funeral Home chapel, Jensen Beach, FL. A memorial services will follow 2PM. Following the memorial service there will be a reception at Eagle Marsh CC.
