He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of nearly 32 years, Lisa Anello Spofford, and his two daughters, Sydney (Boston, MA) and Samantha (Jensen Beach, FL). He is survived by his mother, Doris Spofford, his sisters Tricia Beach (Larry) and Sue Spofford, his brother James Spofford (Janet) and his sister-in-law Michelle Cutro (Michael). Dan had two nieces Lauren Lampiasi and Kayleigh Spofford, and four nephews Kolby Lampiasi, Kirby Lampiasi, Kyle Spofford and Justin DeGrenier, and many many friends. Dan also leaves behind his beloved dog, Zoey. Dan joins his Father, Ray Spofford and his brother Robert Spofford in heaven, along with his parents-in-law Thomas and Dolores Anello.
He was a loving husband and father. Dan and Lisa met in high school and began dating in 1984. They were married June 29,1991. After marrying, they moved to Florida and had their two daughters who were Dan’s pride and joy. He loved tending to his garden, playing with Zoey, reading, cooking, listening to music, playing poker and spending time with all three of “his girls”. He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. He excelled at trivia and had a brain full of knowledge. He always knew the answers! Dan had a passion for travelling and visited many U.S. National Parks, Caribbean Islands and Europe, though he was especially fond of Italy. Most summers he would visit Clarksburg, his favorite place on earth. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family, anyone that knew Dan - loved him.
