Carol Ann Bennett

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Bennett, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on May 24, 2024. Born on January 19, 1940, Carol touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Terence Bennett, with whom she shared 64 beautiful years of marriage. Her legacy continues through her four children (and their spouses), David & Ana Bennett, Cheryl & Edward Niemann, Donal Bennett, and Lisa Zemski, her ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Carol treasured her time at the lake house where she raised her children and where her grandchildren and great-grandchildren eventually came to visit. Over the years, many cherished memories filled with laughter, love, and the beauty of nature were created there. Carol also had a profound love for the ocean. She spent countless hours walking along the beach, not only enjoying its beauty but also actively working to preserve it by helping to keep the shoreline clean. She found joy and tranquility in nurturing her plants and feeding the rabbits and squirrels. A talented artist, she expressed her love for life and nature through her beautiful paintings, which will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her genuine kindness and warmth made her a treasure in the lives of everyone she encountered.

Carol will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and friends. She was truly loved by all who knew her.
