Robert Edward Reinhart Sr.

Robert was born to parents Fredrick Edward Reinhart Jr. and Una Marie Anderson, December 24, 1923. In 1947, he married Annora Jane Talbert.

In 2017, Robert married Beatrice Miscovich-Reinhart.

Robert worked as a member of United Mine Workers until his retirement in 1986. He continued to drill water wells until his second retirement at the age 82.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy, and was a member of the American Legion.

Robert enjoyed dancing, bowling, hunting and fishing. He was a “jack of all trades” and always enjoyed helping others.

Robert is survived by his brother, Harry Reinhart; son Robert Edward Reinhart Jr. and his children, Daniel Reinhart, John Fowler, George Shriver and daughter Janie Fowler; grandchildren Amber Reinhart, Erica Reinhart and Rolin Burghy; six great-grandchildren; Jimmy Thompson, Anthony Reinhart, Aryana Burghy, Jaxon Burghy and Rolin Michael Burghy; and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Annora Reihart; son John Thomas Reinhart; parents Fredrick Edward Reinhart and Una Marie Anderson; sisters Dorothy Malone and Thorlene Reinhart.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor followed by services at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Kibler officiating. Friends and family are invited to celebrate “Pap’s” life.
