Mary Frances Shaneyfelt

Mary was born March 21, 1941 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Phillips Riecks.

She was a 1960 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and also the Uniontown Beauty Academy. She was a hairdresser for several years before becoming a homemaker.

Mary was a member of the Clarksville Christian Church and also attended services at the Rices Landing Church of Christ.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas H. Shaneyfelt Sr., whom she married on November 3, 1961.

Also surviving are her children, Thomas (Nadine) Shaneyfelt Jr. of Pittsburgh, Kathy (Edward) Avery of Masontown, Jennifer (Eugene) Bradmon of Rices Landing, and Daniel Shaneyfelt and his fiancé Donna Presock of Clarksville; eight grandchildren, Casey, Jason and Ryan Shaneyfelt; Eddie, Christopher and David Avery; and Rachel and Rebecca Bradmon; two brothers, George Riecks of Clarksville and Charles Riecks of Jefferson; two sisters, Grace Houston of Uniontown and Janet Gehron of Maryland.

Deceased are two brothers, Elmer W. Rich Sr. and Daniel E. Rich; six sisters, Thelma Williams, Marie Sparks, Bessie Fair, Mamie Thomas, Eleanor Lloyd and Delores Cantrell.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday; 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Ben H. Bradmon, evangelist officiating.
