James Leslie Miller

He was born October 14, 1947 in Uniontown, a son of the late Leslie and Audrey Fletcher Miller.

James was from Masontown most of his life with the exception of the last 12 years.

He worked as a coal miner and retired from Maple Creek Mine.

James was a former member of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Company for many years and the PALS Club of Masontown.

His first wife, Carolyn Bosser Miller, died August 6, 2003.

On September 2, 2005 he married Barbara Sue Johnson Jones, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Luanne Miller Stone of Morgantown, WV, and Jamie Lee Miller Snyder and her husband Kevin of Waynesburg, step children, George Robert (Mary Ann) Jones Jr. of Virginia, Michael (Debra) Jones of Nemacolin, William Jones of Virginia, Thomas Jones of Crucible, and Toni Bowlen of Clarksville; a grandson, Tommy Miller and several step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Jean Horchar and her husband Charlie of New Orleans, LA; a nephew, David (Rachel) Horchar; and a great niece, Sophia Horchar.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.
