He was born December 28.1938 in Clarksville a son of the Late Oran and Helen Holben Reesman.
Homer joined the Marines in 1956 and received a medical discharge due to rheumatic fever.
He was a member of the Clarksville Presbyterian Church in Clarksville.
Homer worked as a Boilermaker with the Local Union 154.
Homer will Be Deeply Missed by his Wife and Best Friend Sara Turner Reesman, whom he married September 5,1959.
Surviving is a daughter Rolinda Marie Kniha of Waynesburg, 6 grandchildren who he adored and they adored him, Sarah Kniha Medlen of Jefferson, Samanthea Slusser (Jared) of Clarksville, Shari Silfies (Dustin) of Coal Center, Shayla Kniha (Andrew) of Belle Vernon, Trevor Kniha of Waynesburg, Jessica Reesman of Bellaire,OH; 10 great grandchildren who were the apples of his eyes, Tyler Kniha(Maggie), Aaryn Edwards, Evan and Landon Slusser, Hunter Johnson, Caelyn Silfies, Temperance Reesman, and Cayden Morris; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; a sister Anna Jean Turner(Robert) of Warren; two brother-in-law's, John Barber(Veronica) of Wickliffe,OH and Matthew Blair Sr. of Niles,OH.
He is Preceded in death by a son, Homer Richard "Goober" Reesman; 6 brothers Oran Reesman, Howard Reesman, Jess Sprankle, Don Sprankle, Ted Sprankle, and Bill Sprankle; 4 sisters Vera Skalad, Laura Barber, Mary Blair, and Della Bradley.
