Gregory D. McCollum

He was born December 29, 1954 in Waynesburg, a son of Ruth Good McCollum of Waynesburg and the late Wayne McCollum.

Greg was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.

He was a coal miner with Vesta #5 and Mon View Mining and had also worked for a time at Eastern Hydraulics in Donora.

Greg was a member of F & AM, Masonic Lodge #237, Beallsville for over 30 years, where he also served as the treasurer.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

On December 12, 1987 he married, Barbara Kolat, who survives.

Also surviving in addition to his wife and mother are four children, Mike McCollum and his wife Heather of Beallsville, Josh McCollum and his wife Nicole of Greensboro, Ryan McCollum of Clarksville, and Jessica McCollum of Clarksville; 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Lexi, Kyle, Noah, Rylan, Roen, Ryleigh and Kira McCollum; a sister, Norma Stickles of Clarksville; a brother, Allen McCollum and his wife Kim of Clarksville; and his mother-in-law, Eva Andrusky Kolat of Clarksville.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, and 4 to 8 pm Sunday, in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. F&AM Masonic Lodge #237, Beallsville will hold a memorial service on Sunday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
