He was born June 18, 1957 in Waynesburg, a son of Manus L. Haywood of Mather and the late Marlene Conner Haywood.
Mr. Haywood was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and he worked at Walmart at Trinity Point in Washington.
He loved his family, was an active adult softball player in the Washington area for years, enjoyed music, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan.
Surviving in addition to his father, Manus Haywood, is a daughter, K.T. Haywood of Dormont; siblings, Larry B. Haywood and his companion Kim Roberts of Rices Landing, Bona Smith and her husband Craig of Carmichaels, and Robert Haywood of Mather; 9 nieces and nephews; and 10 great nieces and nephews.
