Carol Lou Tennant

She was born February 5, 1932 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John Clovis and Ruth White Clovis Fox.

Mrs. Tennant was a 1950 graduate of Waynesburg High School and formerly lived in the Carmichaels area.

On February 2, 1951 she married Robert G. Tennant, who died December 12, 1988.

She enjoyed being with her grandkids, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and going to the beach.

Surviving are a son, Robert G. Tennant Jr. of Heath, OH; two daughters, Deborah Neely and her husband Dan of Springfield, OH and Judith Flannery and her husband Ron of Springfield, OH; six grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Shawn, DJ, Amanda and Morgan; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Shelia Filbey and her husband Robert of Jefferson; and a cousin Patricia Graham of Fairfax, VA.

Deceased is a brother, James Clovis.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m., the hour of services, Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. John R. Dorean officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Jefferson Road, Waynesburg.
