She was born December 8, 1934 in Kent, OH, a daughter of the late William Faye and Arleen Mary Lentz Skiles.
Mrs. Dikun was a retired secretary for Gross Furniture in Fredericktown and had worked for several years at the Klondike Bowling Lanes in Masontown.
She was an avid bowler and a member of ABC, and was a past president of two different bowling leagues at Klondike Bowling Lanes and Alpine Bowling Lanes. She enjoyed cross-stitching.
On November 18, 1967 she married Charles Dikun, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter Patricia Yorko and her husband Glenn of Dry Tavern; three grandsons, Charlie Yorko, G.R. Yorko, and Brian Yorko; two sisters, Betty McNiece of Astor, FL, and Martha Kozlowski of Euclid, OH.
Deceased are three brothers, William Skiles, Robert Skiles, and Richard Skiles; two sisters, Judith Blagg and Arleen Kostura.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 with the Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
