Barbara L. Bailey

She was born April 22, 1943 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Junior Earl Wright and Rosa Nell Shaw Wright Rickus.

Barb was a homemaker, but a one time had worked as a cashier at the former Foodland and as a telephone operator and in the business office for Alltel Phone Company.

She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg, where she had taught Sunday school, worked church dinners and helped in the Caravan for several years.

She lived all of her life in Greene County.

On February 1, 1975 she married Gerald M. Bailey, who survives.

Also surviving are five children, Debra (Mickey) Handel of Waynesburg, Corina (Greg) Brewer of Waynesburg, Scott (Faith) Hoy Sr. of Waynesburg, Tom Hoy of Jefferson, and Sandy (Duane) Walters of Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Jason Hoy, Scott Hoy Jr., Matthew Brewer, Jordan Hill, Vanessa Brewer Stewart, Missy Brewer and Aaron Hill; five great grandchildren, Dalton Hoy, Aryana Burgy, Jaxon Burgy, Isaac Stewart and Leah Brewer; a sister, Shelley Haines.
