Sandra Faye Ayers

Family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Mark Howell will officiate. Burial will be at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sandra was blessed with physical beauty, but her heart was even more beautiful. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and one of the best grandmothers that the Lord ever created. She loved everyone and most everyone loved her. She was a Godly woman who exemplified it by seeing the positive in all individuals. She will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.A. “Alton” Winters; and mother, Avvie Lou Winters.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy J. Ayers; son, Jason Ayers; daughter in law, Amanda Stout Ayers; granddaughters, Susannah Grace Ayers and Lily Beth Ayers.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Keith Morgan, Jeff Morgan, Chris Counts, Dalton Counts, Eddie Bull, Dr. Maury Minton, Billy Lipsey, and John Ayers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Barton, Scott Cole, Jim Brakefield, members of Midway Church of Christ, past and present employees of Jasper Water Works, who she considered as family.
