Roy Wesley Wolfe Sr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Randy Boland, Jimmy Weathers and Don Edgil will officiate.

Roy was born at Saucier, Mississippi on March 28, 1935, in a Methodist Parsonage. He went to Jackson Central High in Jackson, MS. Millsaps College in Jackson, MS., Emory University in Atlanta, GA., and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He pastored in MS, KY, TN, IL, IN, SC, and AL. The last service that he conducted was March 8, 2020 and he loved his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jimmie Hillman Wolfe; and his brother, Hillman Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lillian Jackson Wolfe; son, Roy Wesley Wolfe Jr.; and granddaughters, Mary Ann Wolfe and Haley Wolfe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church 1301 4th Ave. South Jasper, AL 35501.
