Ronald Dean Cook

The Love of my Life here on this earth, Ron Cook, passed away at Walker Hospital. He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was 68 and was a member of Dilworth Church of God. He will forever be in our hearts and will be missed terribly by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Rev. Willie Cook, his momma, Delores Cook, his brothers -infant RJ, James (Diane), & Buddy (Ernestine). He was also preceded in death by his "Forever Furbaby", Bosco. I hope Bosco is receiving lots of hugs & kisses from his daddy for eternity, along with his brothers & momma & daddy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Debbie "Deb" Cook, his loving son -Jonathan (Leslie) Cook, his loving daughters, Leslie Cook, Becca Cook, Tiffany (Jerry) Hughes, & Traci Bennett. He also loved his grandchildren tremendously (as do most grandparents)-Alex Swindle, Seth Cook, Leah (Ali) Chahrour, Chad (Kayla) Hughes, Danielle (Will) Hughes, Aden Cook, Shelbi Bennett, & Katelyn Bennett. He has three (3) great grandchildren -Sky & Ares Hughes, and Evvy Chahrour. Also, his sisters, Shirley Baggett & Jean McCarty, his mother-in-law, Sallie Sutton & his Furbaby, Molly.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Dilworth Church of God, 3582 Hull Road, Empire, AL 35063. Casual clothes acceptable, wear your team colors if you would like. Ron was a BIG University of Kentucky basketball fan, and we're gonna decorate that way in the fellowship hall. There will be finger foods, chips & dips, and drinks.
