Mrs. Pamela A Barnes

Pamela Alisa Lanier Barnes, 62, of Carbon Hill, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at her residence. Family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Memorial Cemetery. Dwight Geist will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert Lanier and Margaret Sheriff; siblings, Tony Lanier and Debra Lanier; niece, Amanda Lanier; nephew, Sidney Lanier; and father-in-law, Bill Barnes.

She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Barnes; children, Brandon Barnes (Miranda) and Nancy Vickery (Jarrod); grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Connor, and Oliver Vickery, and Beau Barnes; and mother-in-law, Patricia H. Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 578, Carbon Hill, AL 35549.

Honorary pallbearers will be current and former employees of Bill & Sons Supermarket.

Pallbearers will be Alan Barnes, Chris Barnes, Gray Marion, Mike Lanier, Phillip Eads, and Mike Reynolds.
